How do we encourage interest in physics education in schools? While there is high demand for jobs in STEM and STEAM related fields, many of today’s students are not prepared for these careers because they don’t study physics in school.
Playground Physics is a program developed to increase middle school engagement in physics education through a hands-on, digitally enhanced pathway that makes learning physics fun. This program has been awarded a $2.8 million U.S. Department of Education grant so that its use can be scaled up over the next several years.
